Overview

This kit is a small voice assistant you can hold in one hand. Say the wake phrase, ask a question, and the answer is spoken through the speaker while the 0.96″ OLED shows the device’s status. It is built on an ESP32-C3 board with a microphone, a speaker output and a battery connector, and comes with a speaker and a white XIAOZHI.ME case.

The board runs XiaoZhi, an open-source ESP32 voice-assistant firmware. It connects to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and to the xiaozhi.me online service, where you pick the character, voice and language model. The seller lists DeepSeek, Qwen and Doubao among the supported models. It is a good starting point for learning how voice AI devices work, or as the base for your own AI gadget.
