Who we are

Engineering Expertise for Real-World Challenges

IoT Robotics Store combines electronics, firmware, sensors, software and connected systems. We help you move from an idea, or from an installation you already have, to a technical solution that works where it will actually be used.

Not every project is turnkey. What we take on, and how far we take it, depends on your requirements. We agree the scope with you before any work starts.

  • Practical Engineering

Solutions designed around your actual requirements, the hardware constraints and the conditions of real-world use.

  • Hardware and Software Integration

Support across devices, firmware, networking, automation and monitoring platforms, so the parts work together.

  • Tailored Project Support

Recommendations and implementation plans based on your objectives, not on a fixed package.

Smart Home Integration & Home Assistant

Bring compatible smart devices, sensors, lighting and automation systems together through a unified smart-home experience.

Home Assistant is an open smart-home platform that connects supported devices and services into unified dashboards and automations. We plan, install and configure it around your home or building, and we assess device compatibility before recommending hardware.

PCB design & electronics prototyping

From Circuit Design to Working Hardware

We take a circuit from schematic to a laid-out board, then help you bring the first prototypes to life and work through what testing reveals.

Fabrication, assembly and component sourcing depend on the project scope and on supplier availability. A design is described as ready for manufacture only after it has been built and verified.

AI, edge AI & intelligent sensing

AI-Enabled Embedded & Edge Intelligence

We use AI where it gives a real engineering benefit, such as recognising a pattern in sensor data that fixed rules would miss. Where a simple threshold does the job, we say so.

A prototype, a validated model and a production deployment are different stages. We will be clear about which one a piece of work is, and what it would take to reach the next.

What this covers

  • Edge AI application planning
  • Intelligent sensor-data processing
  • TinyML feasibility assessment, and implementation where appropriate
  • Sensor fusion and signal processing
  • Anomaly detection and rule-based alerts
  • Predictive monitoring prototypes
  • AI-assisted IoT analytics
  • Integration between embedded devices and software services

Software, dashboards & system integration

Connected Software & Monitoring Interfaces

Hardware is only useful when people can see what it is doing. We build the dashboards, alerts and integrations that put device data in front of the people who need it.

The technologies we propose are chosen to fit the project requirements and what we can deliver well. We will tell you if part of a platform is outside our scope.

How we work

A Clear Path from Enquiry to Implementation

We start by understanding what you need. A tailored proposal follows once the requirements are clear, so it reflects your project and not a generic package.

  1. Discover

You explain the problem, the intended outcome, the environment and any existing equipment.

  2. Assess

We review feasibility, compatibility, technical requirements and the possible implementation approaches.

  3. Propose

We outline the recommended solution, deliverables, estimated schedule, dependencies and a tailored commercial proposal.

  4. Develop & Deliver

Following agreement, we carry out the agreed design, integration, development, testing and handover activities.

Timelines and deliverables depend on the agreed project scope.

FAQ

Common Questions

Short answers to what people ask us most often before starting a project.

What is Home Assistant, and can you help me set it up?

Home Assistant is an open smart-home platform that runs on your own hardware and brings supported devices together into one dashboard with automations. Yes: we can install it on compatible hardware, carry out the initial configuration and add your supported devices.

Can you integrate my existing smart-home devices?

Often, but not always. Compatibility depends on the device, its protocol and firmware, the integration available for it and how your system is configured. Tell us the makes and models you have and we will check before recommending anything.

Can you customise Home Assistant dashboards and themes?

Yes. We design room-based dashboards, custom Lovelace cards, themes and visual refinements so the interface suits the people who use it, on a phone, tablet or wall panel.

Can you connect ESP32 sensors to Home Assistant?

Yes. We build and integrate ESP32-based sensors and controllers, typically over Wi-Fi using MQTT or another supported integration, so their readings appear in your dashboards and can drive automations.

Do you develop custom IoT devices?

Yes. We develop firmware, sensor nodes and gateways, and can design a custom board where an off-the-shelf module is not a good fit. Whether the result is a prototype or something further along is agreed as part of the scope.

Can you design a PCB for my project?

Yes. We handle schematic design, PCB layout in KiCad, component selection and prototype bring-up. Fabrication, assembly and component sourcing depend on the project scope and on supplier availability.

Do you work with businesses and property developers?

Yes. We welcome enquiries from offices, hotels, apartment developers, system integrators and other businesses. Each project is assessed individually, so there is no need to fit your requirements into a predefined package.

Can you help improve an existing installation?

Yes. We troubleshoot and optimise existing smart-home and IoT systems, including unreliable automations, devices that drop offline and dashboards that are hard to use. What can be improved depends on the equipment already installed.

Do you provide remote services outside Kenya?

We can support international clients remotely for work such as firmware, PCB design, dashboard configuration, consultancy and training. Remote support is subject to technical feasibility and the project scope; work that needs hands on site may not be possible.

How do I receive a proposal for my project?

Send your requirements through the enquiry form or by email. We assess the project, ask any follow-up questions and then discuss a tailored proposal covering the recommended solution, deliverables and schedule.
