Overview
This Infineon evaluation shield drives DC motors from an Arduino-compatible board. It carries two NovalithIC+ family high current half bridges with integrated drivers: the BTN9970LV and the BTN9990LV.
The two half bridges can be used separately to drive two motors in one direction each, or combined into a single H-bridge for bidirectional control of one motor. Screw terminals take the battery supply and the motor outputs, and the shield can also be driven through its uIO port instead of an Arduino header.
Key Features
- Two NovalithIC+ high current half bridges: BTN9970LV and BTN9990LV
- Use as two independent half bridges, or as one H-bridge for bidirectional drive
- Screw terminals for battery supply and motor outputs
- Arduino Uno R3 form factor
- uIO port for use with the Infineon uIO Stick
- Arduino example code published by Infineon
