Overview
The DS3225MG is a high-torque, standard-size digital servo. It delivers about 25 kg.cm of torque through a full metal gear train, with dual ball bearings and a CNC-machined aluminium middle case that helps carry heat away from the motor.
This is the 180° version: the output turns through 180 degrees as the control pulse goes from 500 to 2500 microseconds. It suits steering on 1:8 to 1:12 scale RC cars and crawlers, robot arms, pan and tilt heads and other projects that need more torque than a small hobby servo can give.

What’s in the Box
- 1 x DS3225MG servo, 180°
- 1 x 25T metal arm
- Plastic horns
- Mounting screws and rubber grommets
Please Note
- The servo is water resistant, not waterproof. It will survive splashes but must not be submerged.
- At stall it can draw about 3 A. Power it from a separate 5 to 6.8 V supply that can deliver that current, not from a microcontroller’s 5 V pin.
- The red wire is positive. The colours of the signal and ground wires vary between batches, so check before connecting.
