Overview
The ESP32-S3 Super Mini puts Espressif’s most powerful general-purpose ESP32 chip on a board about 18 x 23 mm. The ESP32-S3 has two Xtensa LX7 cores at up to 240 MHz, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 LE, plus vector instructions that speed up small AI and signal-processing workloads.
USB-C connects straight to the chip’s own USB peripheral, so there is no separate USB-serial converter: plug it in and program it from the Arduino IDE, ESP-IDF or MicroPython. The castellated edge pads let you solder it flat onto a carrier board, or fit the supplied headers for a breadboard.
Key Features
- ESP32-S3: dual-core Xtensa LX7, up to 240 MHz
- 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 LE, on-board ceramic antenna
- Native USB on the USB-C port: programming and serial without a converter chip
- BOOT and RESET buttons
- On-board RGB LED and a power LED
- 5 V, 3V3, GND and BAT pads, plus TX / RX and GPIO 1 to 13
- Castellated pads: solder onto a PCB or use the pin headers

What’s in the Box
- 1 x ESP32-S3 Super Mini board
- 2 x pin headers (not soldered)
Please Note
- The GPIO pins work at 3.3 V and are not 5 V tolerant.
- The pin headers are supplied loose and need soldering.
- If the board is not detected over USB, hold BOOT, press and release RESET, then release BOOT to enter download mode.
- Wi-Fi is 2.4 GHz only.
